- Read a book; create a romantic atmosphere with candles and music and just be
- Book a week in a hotel, just by yourself
Why is self-love so important?
When you are eating disordered, you mostly need to cover up an emptiness inside and even a hatred for yourself and you do that by engaging in destructive behaviors.
Learning to reevaluate your insecurities and your false beliefs about yourself is one of the most important steps in recovery. Falling in love with yourself and believing that you are worth being saved will help you begin to make healthy choices.
